supernova

as i am fixed amongst the stars,
i am ruined by the feeling of searing pain.

i don’t burn bright like all the other stars;
nothing like the other constellations formed endlessly
across space.

i burn tirelessly in grief and am aflame with eternal rage.

ever withholding from an all-consuming combustion,
i violently blaze through the infinite void.

i burn and burn and burn,
anticipating my supernova;
finally ceasing
to exist.
