The Book of Sirena

I have no words to describe the current state of the world. There are young children in Congo right now, forced to mine from the raw and gruesome earth, having to sacrifice their tiny bodies and their lives, for the comfort of other people. People they will never see and who will never see them. Again, not just for the sake and well-being of others, but for the comfort of others, for us. There are children in Palestine who are in real time, and for the past year, experiencing a GENOCIDE! Young children are being killed and displaced by the RSF; a militant group based in Sudan. I can name countless other places where it is okay for children to be mass murdered and exploited across the globe. Look at how selfish we are. Think of everything you own, whether it was your intention or not (and many Americans do not have a choice), you have it because a child was enslaved in some way, so that you can buy shit with the money you have from the job that truly believes you are nothing. Capitalism is nothing but a curse and a disease in and of itself, born from its powerful and disgusting parent, greed. It has truly enmeshed itself to human life, based on how many people live and die by it. It is an evil way of life and this evil has found its favorite victim – children.   

With all that is going on in this world right before our eyes, many of us cannot or will not do anything about it. Scarcity mindset and fear has pushed most humans into complacency and weakness, because I can guarantee you right now, many humans will not want to sacrifice and fight for the greater good and it’s obvious! What have we really changed when all history does is constantly repeat itself? It makes this life seem like it is nothing but a waste of time, especially for the development of children. I want you to imagine the worst things anyone can experience and know that there is someone out there who must have lived through it. Now take it a step further by also accepting the fact that it most likely happened to a child. Many people who are vile and ugly take advantage of the most vulnerable, knowing that they can strike fear in the smallest of hearts, forcing them to experience all that pain alone. I genuinely believe this world is run by perverts and malevolent spirits. Humans as a collective, have utterly failed every innocent child on this planet and our fear has led us to refuse to do anything to change the trajectory of humanity. Children across nations are being bombed, kidnapped, raped, tortured, murdered, and abused every single day. To be the recipient of evil, it does not matter the age, which is horrific and beyond maddening to accept. To this day, it shocks me that crimes against children are not punishable by immediate death.  

For many other children, it starts at home. Why is it that a family member or friend can still hang around young children, when it is a known secret of what they do to kids behind closed and quiet doors? Why do adults protect each other and themselves before they protect children? It is not often you hear of a parent that takes it upon themselves to defend, or at least hold accountable, the person who abused their child and it’s not often you hear of communities condemning abusive parents. Across the world, different cultures react differently to when they find out their child has been hurt by another person, and most like to ignore, or “mind their business”, when they find out the child’s own parents are abusive. A lot of parents care more about reputation over the safety of their child, because to them, it is better to look like a vigilant parent than to really be one. For those rare few parents that take it upon themselves to get justice for their child, however the means, it makes no sense to me why they must suffer any legal consequences if they decide to take physical action. They have provided their child with real justice, as well as doing a service for their community, so that no other child will have to experience the same pain.  

Many other children are neglected and ignored, parent’s not even knowing the inner struggles of their children, especially when they become adolescents. Working with high schools’ kids in the past, has shown me that many parents give up and expect their teens to act like a sensible adult, while also treating them as incompetent. We have young teens fighting and acting out violence against each other consistently. We have teens taking responsibility of their younger siblings. We have teens who have to financially support their family but are punished for struggling in school. We have young teens, mainly white teens, that love to grab their parent’s guns and mass kill their classmates and teachers. Our education system is extremely lacking, with many middle and high school children struggling to read, write, and do basic math. At some point, kids are left to their own devices and are expected to turn out good, when all that is on media, when most of what they have seen, heard, and experienced in their reality is nothing but damaging brain rot of fuck ass adults who need to be de-platformed and locked away themselves. The internet and media have reached a place where children are influenced in the worst of ways, reinforced by the actions of the adults around them and online. For the adults who really care about their community and the livelihood of these children, they are not seen in the spotlight for a reason or don’t stay viral for long. We seem to forget just how much control these systems have over our lives and what they have planned for the future of children. 

There is a common saying that to properly kill a weed, you must pull it from the root. The root issue here is that humans as a collective are violent and apathetic. We do not gather and fight against the deviants in society. Deviants in this editorial refer to abusers, government officials, the police, the military, and just about anyone who mistreats and causes harm to any person part of an oppressed community. We see every day just how much evil children must endure and be witness to, just by being alive. The purity and innocence in both wisdom and in faith have been devoured by perversion. Humanity has lost its motivation to evolve, to the point that it has decided to self-destruct and lead itself to ruin. This is the reason for the carnage and savagery we live amongst right now and have been for a very long time.   

The worst part is that people still believe they should bring more life into this beautifully wrapped, cruel world. I wish there was a word stronger than selfishness. There are children who are alive and abandoned. There are children who live this life every day without knowing what love, safety, and stability looks like. Many children who were “raised”, or rather under the custody of their parents, also know nothing of it. This life thrives on the system of hierarchy and children are at the bottom. Kids grow up without a choice in anything and are forced to live a life they never asked for, good or bad. Regardless of the quality of how they are being raised, it may not always be enough. The evils of this world are too big and too powerful to ever want to change the way it operates, because there is an obscene number of adults who are nothing but sick fucks. We have literal scum allowed to live in neighborhoods with children, to work with children, to even bear children. I curse every single one of those people.  

What good is it in bringing new and unsuspecting life in this world, when many adults don’t even have full control of their own lives? The structure of life and surviving only caters to those who are born into privilege, though, that privilege can be lost at any moment. Until we can focus on enhancing and saving this planet and taking care of the children who are already alive, one should not be planning to give birth (if it’s their choice, as for many women it was not and for many more in the future, it will not be) for the time-being, and that is my honest opinion. There are plenty of children who are wishing and dreaming of just one person to call their parent and to have a home, but instead people choose to be selfish and bring yet another innocent soul into this fucked up world. Why are we not coming together as a community to ensure the safety of these children? To ensure that they do not feel abandoned? To ensure that they grow up secure and kind, knowing that even though life can be hard, there is no reason to have to suffer. Sadly, this is not the reality for a significant number of children globally. 

People are no longer connected to their hearts and don’t allow themselves to feel the tie their soul has to every other living being on this planet. Children are the most pure and innocent manifestation of the human soul. When we don’t protect and love children, we are proving to the universe or whatever higher power that governs our lives, that we are not grateful and that we are disgusted with our own existence. As I have mentioned before, humans have truly given up on the idea of continuing to further the human experience. They would rather let evil win the battle, because it means they don’t have to sacrifice. Soon, there will be nothing left in this life to offer these children, not even faith. I hope one day that we wake up as a collective and choose to put the well-being of every child in the world first. My heart bleeds out to all the children in the world and I pray one day they won’t ever have to know what it means to suffer.
